Tell us about your business/craft.
Confetti and Bows is an online party boutique providing pretty party decor, supplies, and paper flower backdrop rentals. We pride ourselves in hand picking unique party supplies from small businesses and handmade artisans.
How did you get started?
We got started last year when we made a paper flower backdrop for a photo shoot and it was later used as a backdrop to style some beautiful dessert tables. Soon we began to get requests for paper flower rentals for weddings, birthday parties, and showers. We recently launched our online party boutique so that we can also provide people with the prettiest party goods for a sweet celebration. Having a few handmade pieces or pretty tableware can sometimes make all the difference when you're celebrating a special occasion.
What is one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
One thing that people may be surprised to find out about me is that I'm really good at reverse parking!
What is your personal favourite piece out of your own collection and why?
My favourite piece from my own collection is the paper flowers that I rent out. They are a product of long hard hours with my glue gun and stacks of paper and sometimes I, myself, can't believe that these flowers are made of paper!
Who/what inspires you?
I'm constantly inspired by female entrepreneurs in our community and have met so many friendors (many of the ReBash vendors) in the industry who have been so supportive, loving and kind. It makes me feel proud to be able to work with them and there is just so much positive energy to soak up when you are surrounded by these empowering women.
What can guests at ReBash expect to see from you at the event?
Guests can expect to see our paper flower wall used as a photo booth and will get to take selfies in front of our backdrop with some photo booth props! We are also giving away a chance to win a free dessert table backdrop rental for a bridal shower or wedding. We will also be debuting some of our online party supplies as well!
